State Department - Sub-Departments

The State Department interacts with countries around the world, including foreign governments and international organizations. Among other responsibilities, they help other countries to negotiate and finalize international treaties, coordinate the distribution of resources between countries, and promote American values while also protecting human rights throughout the world. [12]
